Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pain Management Physician to join their team in Irvine, CA. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pain management, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to develop personalized treatment plans to improve patients' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and physical examinations of patients to determine the cause and nature of their pain.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for managing pain, including medication management, physical therapy, and interventional procedures.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections, and other minimally invasive techniques.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, physical therapists, and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and follow-up care.
- Stay current with advancements in pain management techniques and contribute to ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in pain management or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional pain management techniques, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
- Valid medical license in California and ability to obtain any necessary certifications or credentials.
Compensation: $400-450K DOE plus bonus and benefits
