Our client is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Foot and Ankle Surgeon to join their dynamic team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of conditions related to the foot and ankle. This role involves both conservative and surgical interventions to help patients achieve optimal function and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with foot and ankle conditions, including taking detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for various foot and ankle disorders, including trauma, degenerative conditions, and congenital anomalies.
- Perform surgical procedures as needed, including arthroscopy, reconstructive surgery, and trauma repair, while ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize non-surgical treatments such as orthotics, physical therapy, and medication management to address patient needs.
- Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care, helping them make informed decisions about their health.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and podiatrists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including diagnostic findings, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Stay current with advances in foot and ankle medicine and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery, Podiatric Medicine, or a related field with a focus on foot and ankle surgery.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in foot and ankle surgery or a related field preferred.
- Expertise in both surgical and non-surgical treatment of foot and ankle conditions, strong diagnostic skills, and excellent interpersonal communication.
- Valid medical license in California and any additional certifications required for practice.
Compensation: $400-450K DOE plus bonus and benefits
