Our client isseeking a highly skilled and compassionate Electrophysiology Physician to join their dedicated team in Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and treating complex arrhythmias and conducting advanced electrophysiology procedures. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care, engaging in multidisciplinary collaboration, and contributing to the development of our electrophysiology program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage patients with cardiac arrhythmias and other electrophysiological disorders. Perform advanced electrophysiology procedures, including catheter ablations, device implants, and lead extractions.
- Provide expert consultation for complex arrhythmia cases and collaborate with other cardiology subspecialties.
- Lead and participate in electrophysiology labs, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards.
- Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures. Mentor and train cardiology fellows, residents, and other medical staff.
- Engage in clinical research to advance the field of electrophysiology. Contribute to the development of new protocols and techniques within the department.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiologists, surgeons, nurses, and administrative staff, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Cardiology and fellowship training in Electrophysiology.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in electrophysiology with a strong track record of successful procedures and patient outcomes.
- Proficiency in advanced electrophysiology techniques and technologies. Excellent diagnostic, procedural, and patient management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team and with patients.
- Current medical licensure and eligibility to practice in Tennessee.
Compensation: $600K-650K DOE plus bonus and benefits
