Our client is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hip and Knee Surgeon to join our dedicated team in North Central Florida. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of conditions affecting the hip and knee joints. This role includes performing joint replacement surgeries, arthroscopic procedures, and reconstructive surgeries, as well as providing comprehensive care throughout the patient’s recovery process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients through thorough physical examinations, imaging studies, and medical histories.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for conditions such as arthritis, fractures, and ligament injuries.
- Perform surgical procedures, including total and partial hip and knee replacements, arthroscopy, and joint reconstruction.
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to design rehabilitation programs.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, surgical risks, and recovery processes.
- Stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery techniques and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completed residency in orthopedic surgery.
- Fellowship training in hip and knee surgery is preferred.
- Board certification in orthopedic surgery (or eligibility).
- Strong surgical skills and proficiency in hip and knee-related procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Very high volume - must be a practicing physician with 2-3 years experience
Compensation: $500-600K DOE plus bonus and benefits
