As a part of Proliance Surgeons, Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle (OSS) is seeking a full-time board eligible or board certified Orthopedic-Total Joint Surgeon to join our team. OSS is a care center within the Proliance Surgeons, a physician-owned and managed corporation consisting of more than 150 orthopedists, general and plastic surgeons, ENT and more with care centers located throughout Seattle and the Puget Sound.
The Total Joints Orthopedic Surgeon will be joining a well-respected team of 9 Orthopedic Surgeons and 6 Advanced Practice Providers. Our current partners are fellowship-trained and range in age and scope of practice including adult reconstruction, sports medicine, shoulder and elbow, hand surgery, complex surgery of the hip and knee, foot and ankle, and spine. Our new surgeon should anticipate the opportunity to build and expand on a successful elective general orthopedics and total joints practice within our growing region.
A new physician associate is eligible for shareholder status in the corporation upon ABOS certification, and opportunity for vested ownership track to participate in medical group and ancillary incomes.
Position Highlights:
- 4 or 5 day work week
- Group consists of 9 Orthopedic Surgeons
- 1 Sports Medicine, 2 Total Joint, 2 Foot & Ankle, 1 Spine, 2 Hand and 1 Generalist
- 6 Orthopedic PA’s with full scope clinical and surgical assist practice including new patient intake, pre-ops, hospital rounding, post-ops, and surgical assist
- Dedicated, onsite Physician owned Orthopedic Ambulatory Surgery Center
- Onsite ancillary services include MRI, imaging, ultrasound and OT
- Avg 4-5 calls per month with stipend for call, PA support including 1 st Call service
- Large geographic catchment / referral base
- NextGen EMR
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Preferred Qualifications:
- Unrestricted WA State Medical License
- Fellowship training or career experience in Total Joints, ability and interest in managing community trauma and general orthopedics
- Current WA DEA certificate required prior to start date
