Orlando Health Heart & Vascular Institute (OHHVI) is currently looking for an experienced Cardiologist with expertise in Sports Medicine to join our Central Florida team.
Not a J1 visa position.
Role requirements:
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited cardiovascular fellowship and Internal Medicine Residency.
- BC or BE by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiology.
- Sports Medicine experience is required.
- Catheterization skills is welcome.
- Board Certification in Echo, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac CT is welcome.
- Unrestricted FL medical license (or ability to obtain one) and DEA.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer ( no sponsorship available for this position ).
- A Bilingual/Spanish-speaking candidate is desirable.
OHHVI supports the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institutes active Sports Medicine program. The ideal candidate will need experience in clearing patients for active sports from a cardiovascular perspective and managing cardiac problems to permit an active lifestyle. The position involves a mix of outpatient clinic visits and inpatient rounds. Weekend call is 1:4. Experienced cardiologists and fellows are encouraged to apply.
