Job Title: Minimally Invasive Spine Surgeon
Location: New York, New York
Salary Range: $500,00 - $600,000
Position Overview:
Our client, with an academic affiliation, is seeking an experienced Minimally Invasive Spine Surgeon to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of clinical experience, advanced surgical skills, and a commitment to providing personalized care to a diverse and sophisticated patient base. This is an exceptional opportunity to build and grow a private practice while contributing to academic teaching and research in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform minimally invasive spine surgeries, including microsurgery, tube-based surgeries, robotics, navigation, and potentially endoscopic techniques, across cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions.
- Manage patient care across multiple office locations, including pre-operative evaluations, surgeries, and post-operative follow-ups.
- Provide primary and/or assisting surgical roles in a range of spine procedures.
- Participate in weekend and weekly on-call coverage as required.
- Actively engage in academic conferences, teaching residents and fellows, and contributing to academic research.
- Develop and nurture relationships with patients, offering tailored treatment plans for both simple and complex spinal conditions.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in Orthopedic Spine Surgery or Neurosurgery with a focus on minimally invasive spine surgery.
- 5-10 years of clinical practice experience, with expertise in advanced spine surgery techniques.
- Proficiency in minimally invasive procedures, including the use of robotics, navigation, and endoscopic techniques.
- Strong communication and patient management skills, with the ability to handle a broad range of patient conditions.
- Ability to contribute to academic teaching and mentorship in a clinical setting.
- Willingness to participate in a collaborative, patient-focused environment with a commitment to high-quality care.
