Indiana University Health Physicians is seeking an Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon to join our group at IU Health in Indianapolis.
IU's Department of Orthopaedics consists of 40 physicians, 30 advanced providers, and 150+ support staff, and is home to Indiana's only orthopaedic residency program.
Position Details:
- Full Time, with call rotation possible
- ~75% Outpatient / 25% inpatient
- Responsibilities include:
- Provide orthopedic care to adult and adolescent patients with foot/ankle issues, including sports injuries
- See patients with general orthopedic issues, acute and chronic while building your foot/ankle practice
- Procedures: All foot/ankle procedures (replacements, fusions, tendon/ligament reconstruction/repair, etc.)
- Conditions treated will focus specifically on those that need surgical care.
- Provider will join a collaborative team around foot and ankle care, consisting of Orthopedic Advanced Practice Providers, Primary Care Sports Physicians, Podiatry, Plastics and Vascular.
Qualifications:
- DO or MD - We cannot consider DPMs
- Fellowship trained in Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle
- ABOS BE/BC in the United States
- Ability to acquire Indiana medical license
- Graduating fellows and experienced BC physicians encouraged to apply
