Position Summary

Buffalo, NY – UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a BC/BE Adult Reconstruction surgeon. This is a unique opportunity to join the largest Orthopaedic group in Western New York. We have a high-volume clinical practice with a number of clinical sites and two state of the art ambulatory surgery facilities. We are actively involved in medical student, resident, and fellow training, and are affiliated with the Jacobs School of Medicine. The school is in a beautiful new downtown location on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and houses cutting edge anatomy, microsurgery, simulation, and biomechanical facilities. Position Description:

Provide clinical care for adult reconstruction patients along with multiple Fellowship-trained partners
- Primary and Revision arthroplasty, infections, periprosthetic fracture
Participate in Medical Student, Resident and Fellow education, and departmental Grand Rounds
Participate in smaller Adult Reconstruction conferences and journal clubs
Paid call at level 2 hospitals with ability to “hand-off” cases to subspecialty-trained partners
