Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of spine conditions, including degenerative diseases, trauma, and deformities. Perform both minimally invasive and complex spine surgeries with a focus on achieving optimal patient outcomes.
- Employ state-of-the-art technologies and advanced surgical techniques to deliver cutting-edge care. Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in spine surgery to continually enhance your practice.
- Collaborate with a team of orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective, patient-centered treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families about their spine conditions, treatment options, and recovery processes. Empower them with the knowledge and support needed to make informed decisions about their care.
- Contribute to the growth of the spine program by leading initiatives, participating in research, and developing new clinical protocols. Mentor residents and fellows to foster the next generation of spine care professionals.
- Represent the facility in local health fairs, seminars, and community events. Build strong relationships with patients and the community to promote spine health and awareness.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery, with advanced fellowship training or experience in Spine Surgery.
- Proven expertise in spine care and surgery, with a track record of successful outcomes and innovative treatment approaches.
- Outstanding diagnostic, procedural, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and adapt to the latest advancements in spine care.
- Current medical license and eligibility to practice in Texas.
Compensation: $400-500K DOE plus bonus and benefits
