TRAUMA SURGEON
Orthopedics Northwest, PLLC is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to provide high quality orthopedic trauma care to the Yakima Valley at Multicare Yakima Memorial Hospital. Join another orthopedic trauma trained surgeon to help develop a growing trauma service and perform a wide range of fracture care, including long bone, periarticular, and pelvic and acetabular fractures. Enjoy the support of a full spectrum of subspecialty partners within this collegial private practice group, including sports medicine, hand surgery, total joints, foot and ankle, spine, and general orthopedics. Opportunities exist to work with medical students from the nearby Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences as well as Central Washington Family Medicine Residency Program, if interested.
The schedule for this opportunity is a traditional workweek and periodic weekends, plus call and hospital duties including procedures, rounding, consults and clinic. Expected call responsibility for this opportunity is approximately 10 days per month. We are also actively recruiting for physician assistants to round out the practice. Partnership opportunities are available.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Successful completion of an ACGME accredited orthopedic residency program
- Board eligible/board certified orthopedic surgeon
- Completion of and orthopedic trauma fellowship, willing to consider new graduates
- License in the state of WA by time of employment
- Valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA
- Current BLS

- Starting Salary: $600,000 (1st year income guarantee, 2nd year production based)
- Signing bonus/moving expense: $60,000
